The Full Story
Ugly Mustache Leather
In 2001, after graduating from high school, I purchased a leathercraft kit containing most of what I needed to make leather moccasins. From that point on, I purchased every kit I could afford to get my hands on. I was hooked on working leather. When I learned that completing a kit was a requirement for the Leathercraft Level 1 Pathfinder honor I decided to teach this to my Pathfinders. To my surprise, helping others discover the joy of making a craft and learning this new skill, was equally fulfilling. So for more than twenty (20) years, I have been learning about and teaching leathercraft to as many as are interested.
Mission
To teach the next generation the art of leathercraft and how it is connected with truths as found in the Bible.
Vision
Learning about the history of leather as it is found in the Scriptures is most meaningful when all senses are engaged, specialized tools are employed, and something is made. We strive to introduce the proper use of leathercraft tools and help young and old, connect with God and experience the joy of crafting leather into functional art one project at a time.
